Guy Sargent somehow manages to transform real things into surreal images. He photographs both man-made architechture and the natural environment as part of an ongoing portfolio series entitled, What Lies Beneath the Surface, which he began in 2006. See the rest of his portfolio here.

wow, these photos are moving. the first photograph looks bloody, dark, like carnage, and i had no idea what i was looking at. amazing. i will have to check his work out.
